I moved to Louisiana at the beginning of January, so I have been in the Shreveport area for over a month now. I'm not going to lie. There's not much going on here in Shreveport. The weather is great and I have officially been told I have an accent which is humorous to a Midwestern girl like myself. I did look up some places from Tru Blood but they are in a bad part of town so they got marked of my list. I did check out the Boardwalk which is a lot like Zona Rosa, its an outdoor mall. The cool thing is that it is set up right next to a river so the sights are pretty great.
I have been able to check out Barksdale Airforce base which is interesting I suppose. It's set up much like most of the military bases I have been to.
We went to Air U which is a trampoline play place which was a lot of fun and I have gotten used to the driving so errands are easy to run.
